Mr. David Leon "Boxie" Foutch age 75 of Smithville, passed away Sunday morning at his residence.  He was born March 29, 1941 to his parents, the late John Thomas and Lorene Thurman Foutch.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 brothers-in-law, Jack Bond, Howard Parsely and Chester Parsley; 1 sister-in-law, Lorell Hobson.  David was a member of the Smithville Church of Christ and served as DeKalb County Court Clerk for 8 years.  He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Linda Sue Foutch of Smithville; 1 brother, Glen (Lois) Foutch of Smyrna; 1 sister, Anna Jean Bond of McMinnville; 2 nieces and 2 nephews; 6 great-nieces and nephews; 1 sister-in-law, Peggy Johnson of Smithville.  Funeral services will be conducted 1:PM Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. Dan Gulley officiating and interment will follow in DeKalb Memorial Gardens.  Visitation with the family will be on Monday 2:PM until 8:PM and Tuesday 9:AM until the time of the service at 1:PM.  DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
