Eulain "Poley" Shelton age 73 of Smithville, passed away Friday December 29, 2017 at his residence.  He was born October 8, 1944 to his parents, Walter F. and Ora Bramlett Shelton.  In addition to parents, he was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Eugene, Hubble and Mikey Shelton; 2 sisters, Louise Clark and Nina Chapman.  Poley was a body shop worker and a carpenter.  He is survived by his daughter, Renea (Carl) Lattimore of Liberty; 2 grandchildren, Dustin Lattimore and Mandee (Brandon) Dyer both of Liberty;  1 great-grandson, Fisher Dyer of Liberty; 3 sisters, Aundra Hale and Elizabeth Frazier both of Alexandria and Angela Clabough of Polk County, TN; 2 brothers, Curtis Shelton of Alexandria and Jeff Shelton of Smithville; several nieces and nephews also survive.  Public Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 from 10:AM until 1:PM.  Funeral Services and Burial will be private.  DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
