Harvey Peter Fisher age 71 of Alexandria passed away Wednesday night January 25, 2017 at St. Thomas DeKalb Hospital ER in Smithville.  He was born December 2, 1945 to his parents the late Howard Edward and Virginia Maria Fatz Fisher.  In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his step-mother: Brenda Fisher; 1 sister: Norene Fisher.  Harvey was retired from Air Conditioning & Refrigeration work, farmer, member of St. Gregory's Catholic Church and a U.S. Coast Guard Veteran.  Survivors include his wife of 52 years Billie E. Fisher of Alexandria; 2 children: Richard Anthony "Tony" Fisher of Alexandria, Jennifer Dawn Wright of South Carolina; 5 Grandchildren: Kaitlin, Marshia, Kasey, Virginia, William; 6 Great Grandchildren; Twin brother: Howard E. Fisher of Pennsylvania; Sister: Karen Beshearse of Kentucky; Half-brother: Todd Fisher of Kentucky.  The family has honored Mr. Fisher's request to be cremated.  There are no services planned.  DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
