Mr. Jim Brazier age 79 of Liberty, passed away Wednesday morning, May 10, 2017 at Tennova Healthcare in Lebanon.  He was born July 14, 1937 to his parents, the late Harmon and Violet Mae Turner Brazier.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Earlene Campbell and Alvarene Brazier Holloway.  He was a U.S. Army Veteran, farmer and a member of The Way.  Mr. Brazier is survived by his wife, Sharon Brazier of Liberty; 3 children, Steven Phillips of Wyoming, Teresa Sloat of Watertown and Brian Do of Liberty; 1 grandson, Matthew Phillips; 2 sisters, Mable Holloway of Tullahoma and Onevia Brazier of Decherd.  The family of Mr. Jim has honored his request to be cremated and there will be no services held.  DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
