June Teresa Griffith age 54 of Alexandria, passed away Friday night, September 9, 2016 at St. Thomas DeKalb Hospital ER.  She was born March 13, 1962 to her parents, the late S.B. and Bobbie Jean Neal Griffith.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death 2 brothers, Jimmy Griffith and James Griffith; 1 sister, Marie McBride; maternal grandparents, Clarence and Lillian Neal; paternal grandparents, Leonard and Virgil Griffith.  She was a Pentecostal and a factory worker.  Survivors include 2 children, Derrick (Rachel) Hudgins of Lebanon, Selina Hudgins of Gallatin; 7 grandchildren, Tori, Michael, Ethan and Adon Hudgins, Angel Heady, CJ Heady and Shyanna Rose; 2 sisters, Deborah Page of Dowelltown and Melissa Culwell of Lewisburg; 2 brothers, Charles (Phyllis) Griffith of Alexandria and Maurice Griffith of Smithville; long-time companion, Danny Skinner of Alexandria.  Teresa's family has honored her request to be cremated and there will be a Gathering of family and friends to celebrate her life at Bethel Cemetery on Saturday, October 15, 2016 from 4:30 PM until 6:PM.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to DeKalb Funeral Chapel to help with funeral expenses.  DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
