Marie West age 87 of Crossville and a native of DeKalb County, passed away Thursday morning, December 15, 2016 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.  She was born June 8, 1929 in DeKalb County.  Mrs. West was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Ella Adcock; husband, Marvin West, Jr.; son, Larry Turner.  She was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Gilead United Methodist Church.  Her loving family that survives her include, 5 children, Sharon (Randell) Perkins of Sparta, Dana (Bro. Perry) Clayton of Crossville, Lolita (Robert) Moser of Sparta, James (Pam) West of Hickory, NC and Donna (Danny) Copeland of Sparta; 13 grandchildren, Sherry Watson, Randy Perkins, Sandy Daniels, Tommy Clayton, Tim Clayton, Daniel West, Matthew West, Diana Welling, Christopher White, Nathan Moser, Katey Seal, Wil Copeland and Tabby Copeland Greene; 17 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren; 1 sister, Maureen Cantrell of Smithville.  Funeral services will be conducted 2:PM Sunday, December 18, 2016 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bros. Perry Clayton and Michael Hale officiating and burial will follow in DeKalb Memorial Gardens.  Visitation with the family will be on Saturday 12 Noon until 8:PM and Sunday 10:AM until the time of the service at 2:PM.  DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
