Mary Evelyn Hale Taylor age 92 of Smithville passed away Thursday, December 29, 2016 at the home of her daughter, Faye and Dr. Kenneth Webb in Pulaski.  She was born March 24, 1924 to her parents, the late William Overton and Martha Ervin Hale, Sr.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Davis Taylor, Sr.; son-in-law, Keith Wilkerson; 7 sisters, Hallie (Fred) Cassity, Prudie (Tom) Pinegar, Julie (Charley) Gregory, Ruby (C.N.) LeDoux, Ruth (Odell) Walls, Martha Odell (Jesse) Bluhm, Barbara Billings; 3 brothers, Charlie (Lorene) Hale, Howard (Samantha) Hale, W.O. (Opal) Hale, Jr.  Mrs. Evelyn is survived by 4 daughters, Faye (Dr. Kenneth) Webb of Pulaski, Sherry (Jimmy) Fox of Memphis, Jane Wilkerson of Lebanon and Rita (Randy) Jones of Pulaski; 1 son, Jack D. Taylor, Jr. of Smithville; 1 brother-in-law, Austin (Regina) Billings of Murfreesboro; 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be conducted 1:PM Saturday, December 31, 2016 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with her grandsons, Rev. Jim Fox of Cookeville and Rev. Wint Fox of Mumbai, India officiating, Vicky Fox of Mumbia, India will serve as vocalist and burial to follow in Snow Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.  Visitation with the family will be on Saturday 10:AM until the time of the service at 1:PM.  DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
