Mr. Ray Robinson age 69 of Smithville passed away at his residence, Thursday evening October 13, 2016. He was a custodian with DeKalb County Board of Education and was associated with the Baptist Church, and served in the United States Navy. Mr. Ray was preceded in death by his parents, Eddie Floyd Robinson and Annie Lee Robinson Taylor; sisters, Sally Judkins and Linda Summers. There will be no visitation held, family and friends will gather at the cemetery for a graveside service. Graveside service will be held Sunday October 16, 2016 at 2:PM at DeKalb Memorial Gardens with Bro. Danny Bandy officiating. He is survived by his wife, Teresa Robinson; special step-daughter and caregiver, Becky Atnip; special friend, Christina Snipes; sister, Freeda Phillips; mother-in-law, Betty Jones; sisters-in-law, Darlene and Ronnie Pollard, and Cheryl and Darrin Barnes; brother-in-law, Tony and Patricia Jones; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and other family members also survive. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
