Arriving on Angels wings into the arms of our Lord, Richard M. Fenimore, left this life on Saturday, November 26, 2016.  He was born January 12, 1930 to the late Richard A. and Irene Morris Fenimore.  On November 8, 1952, he married Patricia Ryan who preceded him in death July 11, 2015.  In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Nancy Hale; grandson, Patrick Allen and father and mother-in-law, William and Dorothy Ryan.  Mr. Fenimore was very involved in community activities, singing and helping with kids activities and programs.  He was a member of the Catholic Church and was a maintenance technician. Survivors include 2 daughters, Lynn Smith of Castallian Spings, TN and Robin (Terry) Tate of Hazlegreen, AL; 5 grandchildren, Nanci (Eric) Drennan, Chris Allen, Michael (Janet) Allen, Shawn (Bailey) Tate and Jamie (Stephanie) Tate; 11 great-grandchildren, Jacob and Evan Cripps, Dustin Drennan, Christopher Allen, Michael Allen, Jr., Madolyn Allen, Kimberly Allen, Chauncey Langevin, Lacey Tate, Layna Tate and Avery Tate.  There will be a Catholic Funeral Mass held 10:AM Saturday, December 3, 2016 at St. Gregory's Catholic Church with Father David Cooney officiating.  Visitation with the family will be Saturday 9:AM until the time of Mass at 10:AM at St. Gregory's.  In addition to flowers, donations may be made to the charity of you choice in memory of Mr. Fenimore.  DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
