Ricky Nokes age 49 of Smithville passed away Tuesday morning October 11, 2016 at St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville.  He was born February 10, 1967.  He was preceded in death by his mother and step father Deborah and Jess Chapman.  Ricky was a Pentecostal and a mechanic.  Funeral services will be held 2:30PM Thursday at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bros. Donald Owens and Larry Steffee officiating with burial to follow in the Sycamore Cemetery.  Visitation with the family will be Wednesday 1:PM until 8:PM and Thursday 10:AM until time of the service at 2:30PM.  Survivors include 1 Sister: Maudie Bass of Dowelltown; Brothers: Tony (April) Chapman of Smithville, Jamie Chapman of Dowelltown; Caregiver and Special Friend: Tammy Chapman of Smithville, Trista Lopez, Jamison Ortiz; Several Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Great Nieces and Nephews also survived.  In lieu of flowers family ask that donations be made to DeKalb Funeral Chapel to help with funeral expenses.  DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements
