Shelby Jean Davis age 76 of Liberty, passed away Saturday, November 4, 2017 at St. Thomas DeKalb Hospital ER. She was born December 26, 1940 in Saluda, SC.  She was preceded in death by her parents, and 1 daughter, Betty Ann Harris.  Shelby was a member of the Liberty United Methodist Church and had worked in garment factory.  She is survived by her husband, James H. Davis of Liberty; 2 children; 6 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren and several friends.  A Memorial Service will be held 2:PM Saturday, November 11, 2017 at Liberty United Methodist Church with Bro. Wilson Williams officiating.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made the Liberty United Methodist Church in memory of Shelby.  DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
