Charles Gentry Obituary

Charles Roy Gentry age 70, passed away at Cookeville Regional Hospital, ER on March 12, 2024. He was born March 24, 1953 to his parents the late Richard Leo and Virginia Spriggs Gentry. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Manon Gentry; brother, Michael Gentry. Mr. Gentry was affiliated with Mt. Ararat Baptist Chruch in Coffee County, served in United States Air Force and worked as Non-destructive Testing. He is survived by children, Charles Roy Gentry , Jr., Christopher Gentry, Brandon Gentry, Matthew Gentry, and Jessica Gentry; several grandkids; sister, Yvonne Wilson. The family has honored Mr. Gentry's request to be cremated, with services to be held at a later date. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is honored to care for the Gentry family.
