Tammie Denise (Miller) Geoghegan

Tammie Denise Geoghegan age 60 of Smithville, passed away Friday, April 5, 2024 at St. Thomas Midtown Hospital in Nashville.  She was born December 12, 1963 to her parents, Elsie Hale Miller and the late Bobby Miller.  In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by grandparents, Cecil and Lela Pearl Hale and Odis and Laura Miller; aunt, Macon Hale.  She attended Allen's Chapel Church and was a caregiver.  She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, David Geoghegan of Smithville; children, Jennifer (Brian) Dunn and Jeffery (Amanda) Carter, Jr. both of Smithville; grandchildren, Tyler Dunn, Patyn Carter and Wyatt Carter; mother, Elsie Miller of Smithville; sisters, Carolyn Miller, Lisa Andrews, Tabby Wann and Misty Lassiter all of Smithville and brother, Billy Miller of Smithville; and several nieces and nephews that she adored.  Funeral services will be 1:PM Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. Michael Hale officiating and burial will follow in Banks Cemetery.  Visitation will be Monday 3:PM until 7:PM and Tuesday 10:AM until the time of the service at 1:PM.  In addition to flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital, in memory of Tammie.  DeKalb Funeral Chapel is honored to care for the Geoghegan family.
