Bessie Lee (Crook) Cantrell

Bessie Lee Cantrell age, 75 passed away Saturday,  October 26, 2019 at NHC of Smithville. She was born August 28, 1944 to her parents the late Jackson and Osie Sandlin Crook. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Willie H. Cantrell; sister, Kathleen Murphy; brothers, Clayton Crook, Charles Crook, and Paul Crook. She attended the New Town The Baptist Church in McMinnville and was a retired factory worker. She is survived by her daughter, Lori Fox of McMinnville; grandchildren, Brandon Cleavenger of Woodbury, and Jonathan Cleavenger of Smithville; sister, Jean Goodwin of Smithville; sisters-in-law, Mary Crook, and Gail Crook; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be Sunday October 27, 2019 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel at 2:PM with Bro. Ricky Scott officiating and burial to follow at DeKalb Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday 12 Noon until the time of the service at 2:PM. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
