Billy Roy Malone

Billy Roy Malone age 65 of Alexandria, passed away Friday morning, August 16, 2019 at his residence.  He was born September 30, 1953 to his parents, Inez Hale  Anderson and the late Marlin "Pa" Malone.  Billy was a member of the Alexandria First Baptist Church and worked in the Zinc Mine.  He is survived by 2 children, Tara Stacey of Dowelltown and Travis Malone of Alexandria; 2 grandchildren, Taitum Stacey and Talan Gentry; mother, Inez Anderson of Alexandria; brother, Howard (Gail) Malone of Alexandria; niece, Christy (Joe) Smith of Alexandria; several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.  Funeral services will be 1:PM Monday, August 19, 2019 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. Michael Hale officiating and burial will follow in Hillview Cemetery.  Visitation with the family will be on Sunday 3:PM until 8:PM and Monday 10:AM until the time of the service at 1:PM.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to DeKalb Funeral Chapel, in memory of Billy.  DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
