Carol Lee (Allen) Brown

Carol Lee Allen Brown age 52 of Smithville passed away Saturday March 31, 2018 at her residence.  She was born August 4, 1965 to her parents, the late Earl and Sandra Lee Allen.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie Lee Brown.  Carol worked at Patty's Restaurant.  Survivors include 2 children, Lonnie JB (Jessica Lane) Brown and Shanna Brown (David Amberson) both of Smithville; 5 grandchildren, Lilly Anne Brown, Weslin McCowan, Jayden McCowan, Rebecca Lee Brown, and Isaac Rain Magouirk; 3 sisters, Claudette Caldwell and Donna Greer both of Smithville and Tina Fay Parks of Gainesboro; 2 brothers, Steve Allen and Earl Allen, Jr. both of Gainesboro; step-mother, Debbie Allen of the Dodson Branch Community.  Graveside services and interment for Carol will be held 2:PM Monday, April 9, 2018 at DeKalb Cemetery with Bro. Junior Shepherd and Steve Allen officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home, family and friends will meet at the cemetery for the graveside service at 2:PM.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to DeKalb Funeral Chapel to help with funeral expenses.  DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
