Frank Xavier Haefner, III age 69 of Rock Island, passed away Saturday night, March 16, 2019 at St. Thomas Midtown in Nashville. He was born February 6, 1950 to his parents, Dolores Bill Haefner Davis and the late Frank Xavier Haefner, II. Frank was a U.S. Air Force Veteran serving in Vietnam and worked in retail sales. He is survived by 1 daughter, Amanda Haefner of Rock Island; step-grandson, Nathan Lawrence and mother, Dolores Davis of Florida. the family has honored Frank's request to be cremated and there will be a private service held at a later date. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
