Reverend Donald Davis McCool age 85 of Armada, Michigan and formerly of Crossville, passed away Friday, October 13, 2017 at Orchard Grove Health Campus.  He was born May 13, 1932 in Charter Oak, Missouri to his parents, the late Walter Davis and Jesse Thelma Crank McCool.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, LaCleda McCool and 2 sisters, Dovie Mangold and Ola Denny.  Reverend McCool was the former Pastor of Creston Pentecostal Church in Crossville.  He leaves to cherish his memories, 3 children, Gregory (Mary Jo) McCool, Sr. of Thompson Station, TN, Kathy (Rick) Rudd of Sterling Heights, MI and Jeffory (Carla) McCool of Lapeer, MI; 8 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; 5 brothers, Bobby McCool of West Memphis, AR, Billy McCool and Gary McCool both of Knoxville, Spencer McCool of Armada, MI, and Lanny McCool of Sterling Heights, MI.  Funeral services celebrating the life of Rev. McCool will be held 1:PM Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Revs. Spencer McCool, Bob McCool, Billy McCool and Edward Stine officiating and burial will be in the Green Acres Memory Gardens in Crossville.  Visitation with the McCool family will be on Tuesday from 11:AM until the time of the service at 1:PM.  DeKalb Funeral Chapel in Smithville is in charge of the arrangements.
