Ruth Huff Guerrant age 58 of Nashville, passed away Sunday in Nashville. She was born February 22, 1960 to her parents, the late Sam and Lenora Hatfield McCoy. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Carol Lewis; 2 brothers, James and Daniel McCoy. She was a telemarketer and a member of the Church of Christ. Ruth is survived by 2 sons, Joseph Huff Ray and Johnny Huff Ray both of Smithville; grandsons, Braxton Linder and Christopher Lewis, Jr.; husband, David Guerrant of Nashville; companion, Jerry; 4 sisters, MaryAnn Paxton of Princeton, WV, Brenda Collier of Cleveland, Ohio, Pauline Dotson of Ransom, KY and Maxine Huddleston of Cleveland, Ohio; 2 brothers, Samuel McCoy and David McCoy both of Cleveland, Ohio. Funeral services will be conducted 1:PM Monday, November 19, 2018 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel. Visitation with the family will be on Monday 10:AM until the time of the service at 1:PM. In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to DeKalb Funeral Chapel to help with funeral expenses. DeKalb Funeral Chapel in in charge of the arrangements.
