Walteen Caldwell Neely

Walteen Caldwell Neely age 84 of Smithville, passed away Wednesday afternoon at NHC HealthCare Center.  She was born August 10, 1935 to her parents, the late Walter and Ailene Hendrixson Caldwell.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Neely.  Walteen was a member of the Covenant Baptist Church and long-time member of the Order of the Eastern Star and Ladies Shrine.  She leaves to cherish her memory, 1 son, Kevin (Rexanna) Neely of Smithville; 6 grandchildren, Matthew Royce (Kara) Neely, Erica Denise (Ben) Goering, Jeremiah Joseph (Monique) Pasley, Tabatha Marie (Deron) Batey, Jeffrey Daryl (Holly) Pasley, Matthew Allen Pasley; 9 great-grandchildren, Jericho Zachariah Neely, Lazarus Clarence Neely, Jeremy Scott Fink, Dominic Leon (Brittany) Pasley, Landon Pasley, Miah Pasley, Elijah Scott, Sideny Scott, Skylar Scott; 1 great-great-grandchildren, Blayke Marie Pasley; 1 sister, Sarah Ellen Colwell of Dowelltown.  Funeral services will be 1:PM Saturday, August 17, 2019 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. Bobby Thomason officiating and burial will follow in Keltonburg Cemetery.  Visitation will be Friday 12 Noon until 8:PM and Saturday 10:AM until the time of the service at 1:PM.  In addition to flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Gideon's International, Shriner's Children Hospital, St. Jude Children Hospital or Lighthouse Christian Camp, in memory of Ms. Walteen.  DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
