Alda F. (Funk) Lee

Alda Lee age 83, of Smithville, passed away Tuesday morning December 12, 2023, at Smith County Health and Rehab Center in Carthage. She was born January 25, 1940, to her parents the late Jerome and Aletha Munk Funk. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Tom Lee; sisters, Marva Apostle, and Noreen Bingham. Ms. Alda was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and she was a Homemaker. She is survived by her children, Patsy Haws, David Jerome Wade, Susan Bonelli, Warren Hershal Lyons-Wade, Denise Diane Archer, and Kimberli Ann Hatch; stepchildren, Connie Stacy and Joyce Ferrell; 15 grandchildren; 8 step-grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 13 step-great- grandchildren; special friends, Charlie Lawson and Jessie Mashburn. Funeral services will be held 1:PM Friday December 15, 2023, at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. Michael Hale officiating and burial to follow in DeKalb Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Friday, December 15, 2023, at 11:00 AM until the time of the service at 1:00PM. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
