Amy Dawn Keith

Amy Dawn Keith age 51 of Smithville, passed away Friday, September 2, 2022, in DeKalb County.  She was born October 15, 1970, to her parents, the late Phillip Reed Keith and Brenda Maxine Cope Briggs.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Hayes; maternal grandparents, Myrtle Cope West and Haskel Cope; paternal grandparents, Claudie and Carnell Keith.  Amy worked in healthcare as a nurse assistant and was a Baptist.  She is survived by 3 children, Brittney Cantrell and Jayme Linn Hayes both of Smithville and Christian Keith Cantrell of Tullahoma; sister, Gina (Jimmy) Lewis of Smithville; half-sister, Ashley Keith of Gainesboro; stepfather, Larry Briggs of Smithville; stepmother, Evelyn Keith of Gainesboro; nieces, Caitlin Anderson and Chelsie McCroskey.  Funeral services will be 2:PM Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at the Smithville First Assembly of God with Bro. Donnie Kelly officiating.  Visitation will be Wednesday 11:AM until the time of the service at 2:PM at the Smithville First Assembly of God.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to DeKalb Funeral Chapel to help with funeral expenses.  DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
