Annie Elaine (Neal) McGuire

Annie Elaine McGuire also known to many as "Aunt Thang," age 66 of Smithville, passed away Tuesday night, June 24, 2025, at her sister's home.  She was born October 31, 1958, to her parents, the late Clarence Lee and Nancy Lillian Hale Neal.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 great-grandchildren, Oaklynn Messina and Emery Russell; 2 sisters, Bobbie Jean Houk and Loretta Bain; 2 brothers, LW Neal and Douglas Neal.  She worked in construction home cleaning.  Elaine leaves to cherish her memory, 3 daughters, Belinda Brock (Roy Murphy) of Alexandria, Crystal (Billy Jo) Sandell of Baxter and Stephanie (Joey) Redmon of Dowelltown; grandchildren, Aaron (Vanessa) Brock, JoAmber (James) Messina, Dillyn (Alicia) Keith, Corey (Nicole) McCloud, Alyssa (Leah) Russell, Shawn Woods, Brionna Neeley, Erica Elaine Redmon and Rylee Redmon; several great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Linda Knowles and Pat Sanders both of Smithville.  Funeral services will be 1:PM Monday, June 30, 2025, at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. Michael Hale officiating and burial will follow in Bethel Cemetery.  Visitation will be Monday 11:AM until the time of the service at 1:PM.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to DeKalb Funeral Chapel to help with funeral expenses.  The family would like to express a special "Thank You" to Gentiva Hospice for the love and care shown to Elaine.  DeKalb Funeral Chapel is honored to care for the McGuire family.
