Barbara Jean Wilson

Barbara Jean Wilson age 78, of Smithville, passed away Thursday, December 2, 2021 at St. Thomas Stones River Hospital. She was born October 19, 1943 to her parents the late Howard and Thelma Perrine Clifton. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by siblings, Harold Clifton and Paul Clifton. Ms. Barbara worked at Tenneco. She is survived by her daughters, Susie King of Smithville, and Shelia Dawson of Smithville; grandchildren, Emily Nokes, Alex King, Seth Dawson; great-grandchildren, Kimber Nokes, Kynlee Nokes; siblings, Darrell Clifton of Dayton, OH, JoAnn Johnson of Dayton, OH, Janet Vahencia of OH, and Larry Clifton of New Carlisle, OH; several nieces and nephews also survive. The family has chosen direct cremation and no services are planned. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
