Bertha Essadell Merriman

Bertha Merriman age 79, passed away Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at Cookeville Regional Hospital. She was born August 3, 1945, to her late mother, Myrtle Wilson. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Merriman. Ms. Merriman was a member of Faith Chapel Chruch and a Homemaker. She was survived by sister, Bennie Lou (Hugh Riley) Turner of Smithville; niece, Meredith (Allan) Hale of Smithville; nephew, Jim Bob (Conethia) Turner of Baxter; great niece and nephews, Treyton, Aizley, Colton. Graveside service and interment were held Friday December 13, 2024, at Banks Cemetery with Bro. Michael Hale officiating. DeKalb Funeral Chapel was honored to care for the Merriman family.
