Billy Ray (Sr.) Clark

Billy Ray Clark, Sr. age 69 of Smithville, passed away Friday afternoon, August 7, 2026, at NHC HealthCare in Smithville.  He was born January 27, 1957, to his late parents, Willaim "Red" Clark and Mary Wincherster Chapman.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, Billy Clark, Jr. and Brian Edward Clark; sister, Vicky Jordan and brother, Alan Clark.  He served in the National Guard for 3 years and did boat work.  He is survived by one son, Joseph Clark of Smithville; five grandsons, Caden, Colby, Matthew, Billy and Connor; great-grandchildren, Toby Clark and Charlotte Elizabeth Clark; brother, David Clark.  Graveside service and interment will be 11 AM Monday, August 10, 2026, at Banks Cemetery with Bro. Bobby Thomason officiating.  There will not be any visitation or services at the funeral home.  Family and friends will meet at the cemetery for the graveside service at 11 AM Monday.  DeKalb Funeral Chapel is honored to care for the Clark family.
