Bobby Lee age 87 of Smithville passed away Sunday, March 15, 2026, at St. Thomas Hospital West. He was born December 19,1938 to his parents the late Stanley and Alma Ross Kidwell Lee. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Chris Lee; grandson, Tyler Lee; daughter-in-law, Kim Lee; brothers, Mack Lee, Harley Lee and Billy Lee; sisters, Katherine Humphres, Frances Moore and his twin sister, Robbie Harlan. He attended Smithville Church of Christ, worked at Avco and served in the National Guard. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Jennifer Lee of Smithville; two children, Patrick Lee and Clarissa Lee both of Smithville; grandchildren, Dustin Lee of Smithville, Heather (Dwayne) Cope of Spencer, Lauren (Tim) Dobbs of Texas; great- grandchildren, Addilynn, Avery, Aleaha, Annabell, Kenneth and Henry; brother, Richard "Dick" (Colleen) Lee; sister, Brenda (Terrell) Murphy; sisters-in-law, Juanita Lee and Nancy Lee; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Friday, March 20, 2026, at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. Dan Gulley officiating and burial to follow in DeKalb Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Friday 11 AM until the time of the service at 2 PM. In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to the Smithville Church of Christ Youth Group in memory of Mr. Bobby. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is honored to care for the Lee family.
