Bobby Monroe Luna

Bobby Monroe Luna age 79 of Sparta passed away Sunday November 10, 2024, at St. Thomas Hospital West in Nashville.  He was born May 1, 1945, to his parents, the late Rube and Rubie Johnson Luna.  He was a contractor, served in the National Guard and attended Corinth Church of Christ.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by Pat Luna; brother, Gene Luna; and nephew, Eric Luna.  Funeral services will be held 6:PM Thursday November 14, 2024, at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Robin Phillips officiating and a private burial to be held at a later date.  Visitation with the family will be held Thursday 4:PM until time of the service at 6:PM.  Survivors include wife, Linda of Sparta; special nephew, Carlton Luna of Arkansas; his best friend, Alice; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  In lieu of flowers, family asked that donations be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society in memory of Mr. Luna.  DeKalb Funeral Chapel is honored to care for the Luna Family.
