Brenda Kay (Foster) Driver

Brenda Kay Driver age 69, of Smithville, passed away Sunday, January 7, 2024, at NHC Healthcare of Smithville. She was born September 30, 1954, to her parents the late, Elbert "Les" and Frances Lorene Kelly Foster.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry "Red" Foster.  Ms. Brenda was a Christian and worked at Kingston Timers for 35 years.  She is survived by son, Chad (Tara) Driver of Smithville; granddaughters, Caroline and Lillie Cate Driver; brother, Prentice (Jan) Foster of Sparta; niece, Loren (Will) Martin of Brimingham, AL; nephew, Jalon Foster (Cameron Bryant) of Sparta; great-niece and nephew, London and Korbyn. Funeral service will be 2:PM Thursday, January 11, 2024 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. Abram Edwards officiating and burial to follow in DeKalb Cemetery.  Visitation will be Wednesday 4:PM till 7:PM and Thursday 12 Noon until the time of the service at 2:PM. In addition to flowers, donations may be made to Lighthouse Christian Camp in memory of Brenda. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is honored to care for the Driver Family.
