Carolyn Sue Davis

Carolyn Sue Davis age 86 of Smithville passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at her residence.  She was born September 2, 1939, to her parents the late, Charles and Garnet Elmore Davis.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by husband, Eugene Wilkey; daughters, Penny (Leroy) Hale, Candy Hale, Connie Brownfield, Reba Jean Wilkey; son and daughter-in-law, Phillip (Clara May) Wilkey; sisters, Sarah Goodin, Carrie Ma Wilkerson; brothers, Jake Morgan, Jim Morgan; grandsons, Anthony Hale, David Hall; granddaughter, Eugena Wilkey; sons-in-law, Joe Harrison, Little Duck Anderson.  She was of the Baptist faith and worked at Timers.  She is survived by daughters, Ellen (Charlie) Hale, and Ginger Anderson; son, Roy Wilkey; son-in-law, John Hale; thirty grandchildren; fifty-five great-grandchildren; favorite great-grandson, Naziah Martinez; twenty-seven great- great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive.  Funeral services will be held 2 PM Friday March 6, 2026, at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. Joe Wilkey officiating and burial to follow in Peeled Chestnut Cemetery.  Visitation will be Friday 10:AM until the time of the service at 2 PM.  DeKalb Funeral Chapel is honored to care for the Davis family.
