Christopher Blocker

Christopher Blocker age 56 of Smithville, passed away Wednesday night August 6, 2025 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro. He was born December 16, 1968, to his parents John Curtis and Mildred Elizabeth Blocker.  Mr. Blocker worked in construction with Jones Brothers Construction. He is survived by his wife, Melinda Blocker of Smithville; 2 Children, Kaine Bouldin of Smithville and Brooke (Allen) Bristow of Smithville; 2 Grandchildren, Silane Bouldin and Kobbe Clary; Sister, Kimberly Dee Cooper of Florida. Visitation will be Friday 4:PM until 7: PM and Saturday 11: AM until the time of the service. Funeral services will be conducted 1:PM Saturday at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. Michael Hale officiating and burial will follow in DeKalb Cemetery.  DeKalb Funeral Chapel is honored to care for the Blocker family.
