Clessie "Bobby" George Jones

Clessie "Bobby" Jones age 76 passed away Friday July 24, 2026, at NHC Healthcare of Sparta.  He was born February 20, 1950, to his parents the late Joseph Luther and Josie Ann Davis Jones. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister Jane Jones; brother, Larry Joe Jones.  Mr. Jones worked in construction and was a nurseryman.  Graveside service and interment will be held 11 AM Wednesday July 29, 2026, at DeKalb Memorial Gardens with Bro. Michael Hale officiating.  There will not be any visitation or services held at the funeral home, family and friends will meet at the cemetery.  He is survived by three children, Anthony Shook of NC, Pete Taylor of Smithville, and Angie Taylor of Smithville; grandchildren, Tiffany Jones, Corbin Shook, Arraya Taylor, Aiden and Adelann Taylor; mother of his children, Darlene Jones.  DeKalb Funeral Chapel is honored to care for the Jones family.
