Connie Janette (Turner) Rackley

Connie Janette Rackley, age 61 went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 21, 2023.  Connie was a devoted wife, sister, aunt and friend.  She was a resident of the Green Hill Community of Warren County.  She was employed by Georgia Girl Mfg. until 1996, later becoming a caregiver and homemaker.  Connie was a member of the House of Prayer Independent Baptist Church in Warren County.  She loved her family, her brothers and sisters in Christ and her community.  She was preceded in death by her parents, James "Sunny" and Jolanda Turner; father-in-law, Doris Rackley and sister-in-law, Diana (John) Mitchell.  She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Dewayne Rackley of the Green Hill Community; 3 sisters, Carol Bandy, Diane Ferrell and Ruby (Bobby) Thomason all of Smithville; mother-in-law, Margaret Rackley; 3 brothers-in-law, Dwight (Michelle) Rackley, Eddie (Joyce) Rackley and Terry (Brenda) Rackley; numerous nephews, nieces, great-nieces and nephews; great-great nieces and nephews; several cousins also survive. Connie was laid to rest in a private service at Wood's Cemetery per her wishes.  Connie's family would like to express their deepest appreciation to Mike and Tara Hale and DeKalb Funeral Chapel, who were in charge of the arrangements.
