Constance "Connie" Herrick

Constance "Connie" Herrick of Smithville age 82, passed away Saturday November 29, 2025, at her residence. She was born in Lewiston, Maine, May 23, 1943, to her parents the late John Vernon and Constance Gagne Martin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Herrick; daughter, Debra Ramirez; step-son, Steven Herrick. She attended Smithville Christian Fellowship Church and worked at 3M Factory. Ms. Connie is survived by daughters, Renee Songer of Smithville and Dawn Farris (Matt Dosh) of California; step-children, Scott Herrick of California, and Stephanie (Mark) Wisterman; grandchildren, Skyler Songer, Kayla Songer, Vanessa Rose, Patrick Weyland, Brock Farris; step-grandchildren, Matt Wisterman, Devin Herrick, Sarah Wisterman and Brandon Herrick; multiple great-grandchildren and lifelong friends also survive. The family has honored Ms. Connie's request to be cremated. No visitation or services are planned at this time for Ms. Connie.  DeKalb Funeral Chapel is honored to care for the Herrick family.
