David Allen Cobb, Jr.

David Allen Cobb age 39 of Smithville passed away Friday, December 10, 2021 at his residence in Smithville. He was born January 8, 1982 to his parents David Allen Cobb, Sr. and Leslie Smith Cobb. He was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Cobb; grandparents, James Leslie "Smitty" Smith, Doris Smith, Shirley Stevens and Bruce Cobb. Mr. Cobb worked as a mechanic. He is survived by wife, Alicia Nichole Cobb of Smithville; 2 children, Layne Cobb and Kaydance Cobb; father, David Allen Cobb, Sr. of Springfield, OH; mother, Leslie Smith Cobb of Smithville; 2 brothers, Ryan (Amanda) Beard of Smithville and Austin Cobb of McMinnville; sister, Taren Beard of Smithville; 7 nieces and nephews, Devin, Jaelyn, Raiden, Adalynn, Little Shirley, Raelyn, Kayleigh. Funeral services will be Thursday December 16, 2021 at 2:00PM at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. Michael Hale officiating and burial to follow in the Linder-Hodges cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday December 16, 2021 at 10:00AM until the time of the service at 2:00PM at DeKalb Funeral Chapel. The family ask donations be made to DeKalb Funeral Chapel to help with funeral expenses in memory of David. The funeral home lounge is closed at this time and no food or drinks are allowed in the funeral home. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of these arrangements.
