David Gene Williams

David Williams age 67 passed away Friday morning June 5, 2026, at NHC Healthcare in Smithville.  He was born August 23, 1958, to his parents the late, Bige and Lena Mae Harris Williams.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Elmer Williams and Raymond Williams, Paul Williams, and sister, Wanda Fay Williams.  Mr. Williams worked for Hollender Industries.  He is survived by two daughters, Toni (Tray) Chaney and Patty Williams (Eddie Young); grandchildren, Bradly Williams (Brianna), Kendrais Brooks (Anna Grace), Angel Robinson, Emanuel Robinson, Shelbie Robinson, Kaliegha Aker, Airiana Stone, Triniti Stone; great-grandchildren, Jayden Williams, Braleigh Ogle, Mateo Stone, Baby Brooks; siblings. Jeanette Taulbee, Harold (Ann) Williams, Marvin (Pat) Williams, Pauline Templeton, Bige (Janice) Williams, Jr.; special friend, Robert Leyva.  Funeral services will be held 2 PM Tuesday June 9, 2026, at Hood Funeral Home in Crossville, Tennessee with Bro. Tom Brady officiating and burial to follow in Green Acres Cemetery.  Visitation will be held Tuesday 11 AM until the time of the service at 2 PM at Hood Funeral Home. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is honored to care for the Williams family.
