Debra Lynn (Johnson) Bain

Debra Lynn Bain age 61 of Smithville, passed away Thursday morning August 22, 2024 after a short illness.  She was born December 23, 1962 to her parents, the late George Johnson, Sr. and Nell Johnson Keaton.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Lee Bain; son, Kenny Bain, Jr.; daughter, Stacey Powell; brother, George Johnson, Jr.  Debra was a Baptist and worked as a medical assistant at Family Medical Center.  She is survived by a daughter, Nelda (Terry) Raibley of Indiana; grandchildren, Jacob Bandy, Tanisha (Ronnie) Gutierrez, Briana (Austin) Ellis, Gavin Bain, Braxton Bain and Dayne Powell; great-grandchildren, Aaron and Noah Bandy, Ale and Isaiah Gutierrez and Dallas Ellis; 2 sisters, Janie Johnson and Teresa Johnson both of Walling.  Funeral services will be 2:PM Saturday, August 24, 2024 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. Michael Hale officiating and burial will follow in DeKalb Cemetery.  Visitation will be Saturday 10:AM until the time of the service at 2:PM.  DeKalb Funeral Chapel is honored to care for the Bain Family.
