Debra Jean (Cantrell) Luna

Debra Jean (Cantrell) Luna age 69 of Sparta, passed away at her residence Thursday August 29, 2024. She was born June 27, 1955, to her parents the late, William Ernest and Vina Edith Looney Cantrell. In addition to parents she was preceded in death by husband, Jerry Luna; brothers, David Cantrell, Houston Cantrell, Olen Cantrell and Othel Cantrell; 2 nieces; 1 nephew. Ms. Debra was a member of Johnson Chapel Baptist Church and worked as a Factory Worker at Mallory Control. She is survived by a son, Shannon Luna of Sparta; sisters, Brenda (RV) Billings of Sparta, Phyllis (Bobby) Malone of Sparta, Janice Cantrell of Sparta; 9 nephews; and 5 nieces. Funeral services will be held at DeKalb Funeral Chapel, Saturday August 31, 2024, at 11:00 AM with Bro. Bernard Houk and Bro. Tim Ferguson officiating and burial to follow in Johnson Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday August 30, 2024, at 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM and Saturday 9:30 AM until the time of the service at 11:00 AM. In addition to flowers donations may be made to American Liver Foundation. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is honored to care for the Luna family.
