Edwin Dale Evans

Mr. Edwin Dale Evans age 63, of Barnesville, GA and formally of Smithville, died Saturday August 21, 2021 from cardiac arrest.  Mr. Evans was preceded in death by his parents, Earl nd Era Evans and brothers, Frank A. "Chuck", Roy, Kenneth and Brown Evans.  He worked in tool & die and was a Baptist faith.  He is survived by sister, Joyce Norred of Woodstock, GA; brothers, Dennis Evans of Sugar Hill, GA, Earl Evans, Jr. and Theresa of Barnesville, GA; sisters-in-law, Faye Evans, Juanita Evans and Janice Evans; several nieces and nephews.  The family will receive friends on Friday, August 27, 2021 4:PM to 7:PM and Saturday 9:AM until the time service at 11:AM.  Funeral service will be held 11:AM Saturday, August 28, 2021 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. Michael Hale officiating and interment will follow in DeKalb Memorial Gardens.  The funeral home lounge is closed at this time and no food or drinks are allowed in the funeral home.  DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
