Frankie Dean Carroll

Ms. Frankie Dean Carroll age 86, of Smithville, passed away January 9, 2023 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital. She was born April 8, 1936 to her parents the late Bernice and Clara Velma Young Bain. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Carroll; son James Carrol; grandson Jamie Edward Carroll; sisters, Margie Barrett and Jodie Martin.  She attended the People's Pentecostal Church and worked at the Shirt Factory. Ms. Carroll is survived by son, Steven Carroll; grandchildren, Carri Carroll, Katlyn Waltz, and Candance Carroll; brothers, Austin Bain, and James Bain; sisters Peggy Bain McClain, Judy Bain and Brenda Cook. The family has honored Ms. Carroll's request to be cremated and a Memorial Service will be held at a later date. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
