Freddy “Fred” Stanley

Fred Stanley age 77 of Nashville, passed away on Friday August 26, 2022.  He was preceded in death by brothers-in-law, Mckinley Jones, W. J. Tramel and J. B. Taylor; sister-in-law, Ruth Taylor.  Mr. Stanley was a member of Donelson First Baptist Church, member of Jerry Baxter Eastern Star, and McWhirtersville No. 375 Mason Lodge, and worked as a carpenter in construction work.  He is survived by wife, Linda Stanley of Nashville; daughter, Myra Kay Lancaster of Florida; son, Christopher Stanley of Florida; sisters-in-law, Marguerite Jones of Liberty and Jane Tramel of AL.; several special nieces and nephews also survive. Graveside service and interment will be held Monday, August 29, 2022 at 11:00AM at DeKalb Memorial Gardens with Bro. Jeffery Smith and Bro. Michael Hale officiating.  There will be no visitation held.  Family and friends will meet at the cemetery for the graveside service at 11:AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Donelson First Baptist Church or take your family out to eat. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
