Geneva Joyce (Vickers) Judkins

Geneva Judkins age 91, of Smithville, passed away Tuesday morning, August 22, 2023 at NHC of Smithville. She was born September 6, 1931 to her parents the late Andrew Jackson and Vera Overall Vickers.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Adcock; 1st husband, Frank Mathis; 2nd husband, Dean Judkins; 5 brothers and 2 sisters. Ms. Judkins was a member of Cave Springs Baptist Church and worked at the Shirt Factory. She is survived by children, Judy Craig of Gallatin, Teddy (Becky) Mathis of Alexandria, Debbie (Richard) Lewis of Lebanon; son-in-law, Billy Adcock of Smithville; grandchildren, Leah Jones, Bill Craig, Julia Karaszewski, John Craig, Dallas Jeffers, Tiffaney Mathis, Samantha Forsyth, Russell Lewis, and Joy Lewis; step-granddaughter, Danielle Collins; 12 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 1:PM Saturday August 26, 2023 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. Michael Hale officiating and burial to follow at Salem Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday 10:AM until the time of the service at 1:PM. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
