Glenn Wade Edwards

Glenn Wade Edwards age 69 of Smithville passed away Sunday at his Mother's home in Dowelltown.  He was born February 21, 1956, to his parents Charles Otto and Shirley Ann Funke Edwards. He is proceeded in death by his father, Charlie Edwards; 2 Brothers, Jeff Edwards & Greg Edwards. Mr. Edwards was a member of Haywood Hills Baptist Church and was an automobile painter.  He is survived by his mother, Shirley Edwards of Dowelltown; sister, Dana (Butch) Davis of Dowelltown; niece, Bethany Davis of Dowelltown; nephew, Brian (Natalie) Davis of Clarksville.  A graveside service and interment will be held 3:PM Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at Salem Cemetery with Bro. Michael Hale officiating.  There will not be any visitation or services at the funeral home, family and friends will meet at the cemetery for the service.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the carity of your choice, in memory of Glenn.  Dekalb Funeral Chapel is honored to care for the Edwards family.
