Harold Tomlin

Harold Tomlin age 77 of Smithville, passed away Friday, July 21, 2023, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.  He was born December 1, 1946, to his parents, the late James and Charlene Kemp Tomlin.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Harry Tomlin and sister, Bernice Parker.  He retired from Safety Clean after 22 years and attended the Church of Christ.  Harold loved to travel.  He was always upbeat, happy and gave 110% in all he did.  He will be missed by all who knew him.  He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 23 years, Angelika Tomlin of Smithville; son, Christopher Tomlin of Hendersonville; stepdaughter, Tanya Garvin of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Brayden Tomlin and Hannah Garvin both of Murfreesboro; great-grandchildren, Deytin, Reni, Rori and Vanna all of Murfreesboro and several nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be 2:PM Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. Michael Hale officiating and burial will follow in DeKalb Memorial Gardens.  Visitation will be Tuesday 10:AM until the time of the service at 2:PM.  DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
