Hellon Beatrice (Cantrell) Emberton

Hellon Beatrice Emberton age 79 of Smithville, passed away Saturday morning, December 17, 2022 at her residence.  She was born October 11, 1943 to her parents, the late Robert Fate and Geneva Rufene Redmon Cantrell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Emberton; sister, Ann (Leon) Barnes; and nephew, Jimmy Irby.  Hellon was a member of the Sink Creek Creek Missionary Baptist Church and worked in nursery.  She is survived by 3 sisters, Thelm Irby and Linda (Charles) Moseley both of Smithville and Brenda (John) Clark of McMinnville; nieces and nephews, David (Suzette) Barnes, Jason (Beth) Moseley, Tammy (Jim) Palmer, Tina (Daniel) King and Tisha Emberton; several great-nieces and nephews.  The family has honored Hellon's request to be cremated and there will be a Memorial Service 1:PM Friday December 30, 2022 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. Michael Hale officiating.  Visitation with the family will be on Friday December 30, 2022 12 Noon until l the time of the service at 1:PM.  In addition to flowers, the family ask that donations be made to New Union Cemetery.  DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
