Irvin Eugene Leaver

Irvin Eugene Leaver age 84 of Smithville passed away Saturday October 4, 2025 at his residence.  He was born February 16, 1941, to his parents the late Irvin O. and Daisy Maye Jarred Leaver.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Sue Leaver; sisters, Jo Ann Reasonover, Lorene Honey, Betty Jean Sullivan and Judy Hinkle.  Mr. Leaver worked in maintenance for Nissan.  He is survived by daughter, Wanda (Michael) Monroe of Smyrna; son, Teddy (Mellissa) Leaver of Smithville; grandchildren, Michael (Jenna) Dority, Dustie (Tim) Williams, Brandon (Danielle) Leaver, Courtney (Ashley) Leaver, Aaliyah Leaver, Anthony Leaver; great-grandchildren, Miah Dority, Austin Dority, Levi Traughber, Kamden Leaver, Kaden Leaver, Bryson Leaver, Weston Leaver; brother, Terry Leaver; sister-in-law, Cindy (Roy) Williamson; several nieces and nephews also survive. The family has honored Mr. Leaver's request to be cremated.  No visitation or services will be held at this time.  DeKalb Funeral Chapel is honored to care for the Leaver family.
