Jackie Eston Trapp

Jackie Trapp age 70, of Smithville passed away Tuesday September 20, 2022 at Viviant Healthcare of Shelbyville. He was born September 5, 1952 to his parents, Clarence and Mildred Wright Trapp. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Jarvis Trapp; grandparents, Jackson and Avo Trapp and Eston and Drussi Wright; uncles, Clyde Trapp and Cless Trapp. Mr. Trapp was affiliated with Bethel Baptist Church, he served in the Army National Guard, and was the Owner of Trapp's Produce. He is survived by daughter, Michelle Cantrell (Paul Cantrell) of Smithville; son, Tony (Amanda) Trapp of Smithville; grandchildren, Brittany Wilkerson (Brennan Downey) of Knoxville, Anthony Gage Trapp, Kylee Cantrell, Holden Trapp, and Bryson Trapp; sister, Judy Agee of Smithville; brothers, Jerry Trapp of Dibrell, Jimmy Trapp of Dibrell, Johnny Trapp of Smithville, Joe Trapp of Pleasant Shade; several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive; the mother of his children, Vicky Bogle. The family has honored Mr. Trapp's request to be cremated. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to DeKalb Funeral Chapel to help with funeral expenses. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
