James "Jimmy" Cantrell

James "Jimmy" Cantrell age 68 passed away at his residence in Smithville, on Saturday December 6, 2025. He was born January 10, 1957, in Painesville, Ohio to his parents the late Ernest Clifton and Lillian Lanning Cantrell, Sr.  Jimmy was retired Factory Worker and an Antique Collector.  He is survived by brothers, Ernest Cantrell, Jr. and Harvey Cantrell; nieces, Sabra Murphy, Rachel Cantrell, Alex Carpenter and Dalila Cantrell; nephews, Chris Cantrell, Charles Cantrell and Zollie Cantrell. The family has honored Mr. Cantrell's request to be cremated. No services are planned. The family ask that in lieu of flowers donations be made to DeKalb Funeral Chapel to help with expenses.  DeKalb Funeral Chapel is honored to care for the Cantrell family.
