Janice Carolyn (McCormick) Blish

Janice Carolyn Blish age 65 of Smithville, passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at St. Thomas West Hospital.  She was born November 27, 1958 to her parents, Dorothy and the late Melvin McCormick.  In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Atlantis Dodson.  Janice was a retired shirt factory worker.  She is survived by her husband, Larry Blish of Smithville; daughter, Stephanie Dodson of McMinnville; 5 grandchildren, Kelsi Glenn and Allissa Loring both of Smithville, Selena Cole of McMinnville, Leeann Brandon of Manchest and Zoe Dodson of McMinnville; 4 great-grandchildren, Kailee Hoover, Lillie Lee, Amelia Loring and Bellamy Loring; mother, Dorothy McCormick of Smithville.  Funeral services will be 3:PM Friday, July 19, 2024 at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. Michael Hale officiating and burial will follow in DeKalb Memorial Gardens.  Visitation will be Friday 11:AM until the time of the service at 3:PM.  DeKalb Funeral Chapel is honored to serve the Blish family.
