Jeremy Shane Fitts

Jeremy Shane Fitts age 49, of Nashville passed away Wednesday morning March 29, 2023 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He was born April 27, 1973 to his parents the late, Billy Byron and Joan Faye Young Fitts.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ricky Byron Fitts. Mr. Fitts worked in Construction in Masonry. He is survived by sister, Cindy Knopp of Smithville; nieces, Carrie (Alan) Ogletree, and Kayla Edwards; nephew, Derrick (Hope) Fitts; great nieces, Iris Allen, and Kennedy Fitts; great nephews, Connor Talley, Paul Ogletree, and Gavin Edwards; former brother-in-law, Doug Knopp; several cousins also survive. Funeral services will be held 4:PM Sunday April 2, 2023, at DeKalb Funeral Chapel with Bro. Michael Hale officiating.  Visitation will be Sunday 1:PM until the time of the service at 4:PM. The family ask in lieu of flowers donations be made to DeKalb Funeral Chapel to help with funeral expenses. DeKalb Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
